How to Choose the Right Wig for Your Face
When it comes to choosing a wig, it is very important to select one that suites face shape. Choosing proper wigs can not only help your hairstyle look more nature, but it can enhance your whole appearance. There are seven different basic face shapes with the corresponding suggestions to help you choose your hairstyle:
Oval faces are considered as the most perfectly proportional face. Since everything is so balanced, so, any style of wigs including either short or long hair, wavy or straight can go well with them.
If you have an oval face, you can just only consider your preference and sense of beauty when you choose your wigs.
Round faces are featured with wide hairline and fullness below the cheekbones. Adding height to the top of the crown can make your round face look thinner. These faces look very good with a short wig style with layers and wispy diagonal bangs. A geometric or linear style wig is also a good choice
A square face shape is featured with a broad forehead and cheekbones, as well as a wide chin. Mid-length to long curly wigs can help them soften the angles of the face
Diamond Faces are characterized by a narrow chin and forehead with wide cheekbones. In common, they look very good with a Bob style wig. Another option for a diamond face is a wig with a fringe or bangs that covers the narrow forehead.
Heart Faces are featured with a wide forehead and a narrower chin. These people can choose wig that bring some hair onto the forehead to disguise its width. The wigs should also be fuller at the jaw and below and in front of the earlobes. Pageboy style and choppy layers style wigs are recommended
Pear Faces have a small and narrow forehead and wide chin and jaw line. These people can choose wigs that can add width and volume from the eyes to the crown to balance out the face. So, classic shag style is recommended. Also, people will look good with wigs that have Layers and give the appearance of fullness to the upper half of the face
Oblong faces have a very long and narrow bone structure. These faces appear narrow from the forehead through the cheekbones, and to the jaw line. A graduated bob cut wig or a wig that is chin or shoulder length can flatter a oblong face. Besides, you can use a fringe or half-bang across or curls in the crown and nape areas to help create the illusion of an oval.
